How we live affects our skin
Lifestyle factors can have a BIG influence on skin condition and overall wellbeing. Here are some tips that we personally love to follow:
- Always wear sunscreen when outside. Remember your hands are where the first signs of ageing show!
- Drink plenty of water - think plum (nice and plump) versus prune (shrivelled up and dry)
- Get good quality sleep
- Get outdoors for light exercise
- Don’t smoke
- Limit alcohol consumption
- Find ways to de-stress
- Have fun and enjoy life!!
Now, we all know life is not easy. There are times in our lives when stress and everyday life get in the way of all good intentions. So when this happens, take the time to be kind to yourself, do what you can and seek resources that can help.
