Dior Eau de Toilette
Choosing the right perfume concentration is an art. It is a balance between choosing a strength that leaves a subtle trail suited to your occasion, without stifling those around you. A Dior Eau de Toilette is the perfect way to enjoy your favourite Dior perfume during the day.
An Eau de Toilette contains between 8 to15% fragrance oil. Conversely, a Dior Eau de Parfum contains between 15 to 30% perfume oil. This higher concentration perfume oil results in a generous and sophisticated fragrance that is best suited to the evening or night time.
How long does Dior Eau de Toilette Last?
Dior Eau de Toilette typically lasts between 4 to 6 hours on your skin. This makes it light enough to wear to brunch or to work and will have everyone wondering what you're wearing.
Dior Eau de Toilettes have a high quality and structure which allows the scent to project for so long.
How to make Dior Eau de Toilette Last Longer
To improve the longevity of your signature scent, spray one to two sprays onto your scarf or clothes. The fragrance lasts longer on your clothes because the alcohol doesn't evaporate as quickly from fabric as it does from the skin. This way, you can enjoy the beautiful notes from your fragrance for a few extra days.
If you are spraying fragrance directly onto the skin, ensure that you apply it to dry skin, preferably after a shower. Likewise, apply the fragrance to warmer areas of the body (neck, shoulder, chest, wrist). These warmer areas will project the scent further and for longer through out the day. As a result, you will create a lovely sillage of your favourite fragrance.
Avoid rubbing the perfume into the skin. This breaks down the molecules in the fragrance, resulting in a weaker scent.
Finally, if you're heading out from day to night, you can re-spray your wrist with some more fragrance. Our travel-friendly scents are the perfect size to slip into your clutch, work bag or gym bag.
