Without revealing my age, I have been working in the beauty and fragrance industry for over 30 years. I have spent some of this time running my own beauty therapy business and working as a fragrance specialist.

Tip for choosing a foundation based on the season:

I recommend using a different foundation in summer and winter. Firstly, your skin is likely to be a slightly different shade. By using a different foundation, you can match the foundation to your skin better.

However, it’s not just about the shade of foundation. Our skin has different needs in different seasons.

A great summer foundation is the Clinique Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator. It is perfect for the warmer weather because it is sweat and humidity resistant and leaves a gorgeous fresh, natural finish.

For winter, I recommend the Even Better Refresh Hydrating and Repairing Foundation. Hyaluronic acid plumps up the skin so that it feels comfortable all day long and gives the pores a smoother appearance. It is a full coverage foundation and lasts all day.

In my spare time I love to cuddle babies, especially my new grandchildren. My favourite holiday destination is without a doubt Thailand. I love the people and food so much that I usually travel there twice a year, every year. I can’t wait to be able to do this again.
